seasonal equality

The sweet sweet madness of the vernal equinox bursting forth in the blossoming cherry and plum trees... the madness of the promises of spring as it sets about warming our cold and weary winter bones. The madness of a culture that manages to ignore this cosmic phenomenon, opting to change the channel to American Idol. Such perverse priorities!
I vote for THE MADNESS OF SPRING! Oh glorious spring. Sexy spring!
I am giddy with its sensuality, mainly because i happen to have the day of the equinox off this year. Otherwise, i would be grumbling about the usual B.S. at the temples.
BUT WAIT: what's that i hear coming down the path? Yes, tis the madness of Easter, and the madness of the littered aftermath scattered helter-skelter throughout The Temple Of Wages.. perhaps it's all cleverly designed to keep me from getting just too damned giddy.
I will defiantly rejoice in the madness of the equinox.
What the hell....

Oh yes, Spring is here. I almost forgot. The crocuses and the daffodills are blooming! The wood thrushes and the meadow larks are coming back. The northern honkers are heading our way in large v formations. The corporate industries of mind control and the material worshipping gods of darkness doesn't want us to experience it unless we spend our dollars on them rather than paying reverence to the wonders and beauty of nature.
